Platform Solutions Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Platform Solutions Lead to oversee data management, reporting operations, and process optimization for alternative investments. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring data integrity, supervising team performance, and collaborating with technology partners to implement scalable solutions across hedge funds, private equity, and capital markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and analyze alternative investment trades (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers).
  • Aggregate and normalize hedge fund and private equity investor data.
  • Prepare accurate daily, monthly, and quarterly client reporting files.
  • Maintain data integrity and troubleshoot reporting system issues; escalate when required.
  • Coordinate with custodians, administrators, and vendors to resolve data and operational issues.
  • Partner with technology teams to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports across business lines.
  • Define, implement, and drive scalable solutions for alternative investments and capital markets processes.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs; audit processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise team operations, providing coaching, guidance, and training.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and development of team members.
  • Provide client updates and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

  • College degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years experience in the financial data management or financial services industry.
  • 3+ years supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience with hedge funds and/or private equity.
  • Strong background handling alternative investments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, VBA, Macros).

Must-Have Skills

  • Experience in Data Management/Processing (preferred).
  • Experience in Financial Reporting (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Highly organized self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
