Lead Designer – Workplace & Corporate Interiors

Makati City | Full-Time | Onsite

About the Role

We're looking for a Lead Designer who can bring both creative vision and technical precision to workplace and corporate interior projects. This role blends design leadership with hands-on project execution — from concept development and client presentations to detailed coordination and site support.

You'll guide junior designers, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and ensure every project meets both aesthetic and buildable standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full design process for fit-out, workplace, and design & build projects, from concept to completion.
  • Develop and present design concepts, layouts, and visual presentations to clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior designers, serving as point person when the Design Manager is unavailable.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and aligned with site conditions.
  • Review and finalize working drawings, material boards, and client decks before submission.
  • Support construction teams during implementation — some clarifications may occur after office hours.
  • Keep up with emerging design trends, materials, and digital tools relevant to workplace environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields (Architecture/Design background preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in workplace, corporate interiors, or design & build projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp (Photoshop preferred but not required).
  • Strong portfolio highlighting relevant projects and design scope.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for both client-facing and internal coordination.
  • Sound understanding of construction methods, fit-out detailing, and materials.

Work Setup

  • Onsite role based in Makati City (Monday–Friday).
  • Occasional travel to Biñan for project or team requirements.
  • Saturday work is typically compressed into weekdays; flexibility for urgent calls is appreciated.
  • Hybrid arrangement may be considered after regularization, and by approval of management.
