Role Overview

We are looking for a Design Manager for our client based in Makati. The Design Manager will be at the forefront of transforming design visions into iconic living spaces that reflect the company standard of excellence. With a discerning eye for detail and an appreciation for timeless aesthetics, you will lead the design process from concept to completion—ensuring every project embodies elegance, functionality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Conceptualization

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define the vision, objectives, and design intent of vertical and horizontal developments.
  • Translate design briefs into well-curated concepts that balance creativity, functionality, and Rockwell's signature aesthetic.

Design Development & Oversight

  • Lead and mentor the design team in developing cohesive design solutions that meet project requirements and elevate user experience.
  • Review and refine design proposals, ensuring alignment with brand standards, regulatory guidelines, and budgetary parameters.

Project Expertise

  • Apply specialized knowledge in both vertical (high-rise) and horizontal (low-rise, mixed-use) developments—integrating architectural sophistication with practical spatial design.
  • Ensure every element, from façade articulation to interior flow, reflects thoughtful planning and craftsmanship.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with architects, consultants, engineers, and project managers to ensure design consistency and seamless coordination across disciplines.
  • Serve as the creative bridge between the design studio and project execution teams.

Quality & Compliance

  • Champion the company's commitment to quality by upholding meticulous design standards and ensuring compliance with all codes and regulations.
  • Conduct design audits and implement continuous improvement processes.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Support project cost planning by identifying design efficiencies and value-engineering opportunities without compromising design intent.

Construction Support

  • Collaborate with construction teams during the implementation phase to address design challenges and maintain fidelity to the original vision.
  • Stay informed on emerging materials, design technologies, and sustainable practices, incorporating forward-thinking solutions into the company's projects.

Leadership & Development

  • Inspire, coach, and develop a team of designers to deliver exceptional outcomes and nurture company's culture of design excellence.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Architecture, a related field; Licensed Architect or Designer preferred.

· Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in architectural or design management, preferably in mixed-use, vertical, or horizontal residential developments.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership, creativity, and technical proficiency.

· Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

· Deep appreciation for refined design details, material harmony, and the company brand aesthetic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month
