Job Summary

The Baker is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and adherence to food safety standards to ensure high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked products.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or custom requirements.
  • Monitor baking processes and make adjustments to ensure consistent quality.
  • Decorate and finish baked goods as needed (e.g., icing, toppings, garnishes).
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Manage inventory of baking supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
  • Assist in developing new recipes or improving existing products.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or fulfilling special requests.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in baking or culinary arts preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of baking methods and ingredients.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in products.
  • Creativity in recipe development and product presentation.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle kitchen equipment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php17,000.00 per month
