About the role

Join our vibrant team at Select Goods' as a full-time Baker based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for producing a wide variety of high-quality baked goods to delight our customers. What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and bake a diverse range of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods to our exacting standards
  2. Ensure consistent quality, presentation and taste of all baked products
  3. Assist in the development of new recipes and product innovations
  4. Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic baking area
  5. Collaborate with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service
  6. Adhere to all food safety and health regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Formal training or qualifications in baking, patisserie or a related culinary discipline
  2. Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef, ideally within a commercial bakery or similar environment
  3. Excellent bread and pastry making skills, with an eye for detail and presentation
  4. Strong time management and multitasking abilities to work in a fast-paced environment
  5. Passionate about using quality ingredients and creating delicious baked goods
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  7. Ability to follow recipes and health/safety procedures with precision
