Job Summary

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support management with strategic financial insights. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to manage a small accounting team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all general accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Coordinate audits and implement internal controls to improve efficiency.
  • Supervise, train, and support accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar leadership role.

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.
