Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop process workflows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
  • Implement cost-reduction and waste-minimization programs.
  • Support new product introductions by defining process requirements and equipment needs.
  • Monitor process performance and troubleshoot issues affecting quality or output.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to ensure adherence to standards and compliance.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for equipment upgrades, modifications, or troubleshooting.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and data analysis related to process performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and other process improvement tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CAD, process simulation, or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
