Job Overview:

The QA / QC / TSD Senior Supervisor position is responsible for ensuring that all products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and comply with internal and external requirements. The role supervises the QA/QC team in conducting inspections, tests, and audits, while also leading the Technical Services Department (TSD) in addressing product-related issues, client concerns, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position acts as the bridge between production, R&D, and customer service to ensure product reliability, consistency, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA):

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems, policies, and procedures in accordance with company standards.
  • Monitor compliance with ISO standards, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented effectively.
  • Lead document control activities, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality manuals.

Quality Control (QC):

  • Supervise the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instruments.
  • Review and approve QC reports, test results, and certificates of analysis (COA).
  • Investigate quality deviations, non-conformities, and product complaints.

Technical Services Department (TSD):

  • Manage technical support for product applications, trials, and after-sales services.
  • Coordinate with clients and sales teams to address technical inquiries and quality-related issues.
  • Support new product development by providing quality input and feedback.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend technical improvements or process modifications.

Leadership and Reporting:

  • Supervise and train QA/QC/TSD personnel, ensuring their technical competency and professional growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on quality performance metrics (e.g., rejection rates, CAPA effectiveness, customer complaints).
  • Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain departments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams during problem-solving or product validation activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biology Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC and Technical Services, or Compliance preferably in manufacturing, food, or industrial production.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, FDA, and other quality management systems.
  • Experienced in handling root cause analysis, CAPA, audit systems, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in MS Office and laboratory management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
