QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least five (5) years of general working experience
  • At least one (1) land transportation project in related field

PREFERRED/DESIRABLE:

  • A valid license as a Professional Electrical Engineer in the Philippines
  • Experience in designing and overseeing the installation of electrical systems for transportation infrastructure, including substations, power distribution, and signalling, is often required.
  • Expertise in areas such as network cabling, control systems, safety and security monitoring, and compliance with national electrical and safety codes.

DETAILED TASKS ASSIGNED:

  • Conduct daily review of design drawings as submitted by the contractor with focus on electrical system of the four (4) contract packages of the project.
  • Validate that materials and workmanship conforms to the approved plans and project specifications.
  • Provide special skills in areas such as network cabling, control system, safety and security monitoring, and compliance with national electrical and safety codes.
  • Report any non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in validating contractor progress claims and accomplishments and as-built drawings submitted by the contractor.
  • Must accept assignments given by superiors and work with other engineering disciplines, such as civil and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
