Remarkablism Services Corp. is seeking a CAD Design Specialist to support our client, a leading multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consulting firm.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who thrives in collaborative, detail-driven environments and excels in technical design, drafting, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in creating accurate, high-quality engineering drawings and upholding CAD standards for civil and environmental projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise detailed design drawings for roadway, drainage, utility, and site development projects using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
  • Perform design calculations, quantity take-offs, and basic engineering analyses to support construction and estimating.
  • Review plans, figures, and calculations for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with drafting standards.
  • Participate in quality review processes, making revisions as required and ensuring deliverables meet project specifications.
  • Manage workload, track time accurately, and communicate progress and priorities to project managers.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including processing survey and lidar data, surface modeling, pipe networks, and plan/profile generation.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic modeling or stormwater design software (Specific experience with Bentley CivilStorm or StormCAD is a plus).
  • Familiarity with software used to markup and track processes to ensure strong quality control (Specific Experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus)
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS, Hydrology Studio, HEC-RAS, and Hy-8 considered an advantage.
  • Autodesk Certification or equivalent credentials preferred.

  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Exhibits initiative, accountability, and problem-solving capability.
  • Adapts comfortably to an all-remote, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field is required.
  • 4–10 years of full-time experience in engineering-related drafting and design, preferably within civil engineering.
  • Prior experience in a full-time remote technical or design role for an American company is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical plans, survey data, and construction documents with precision.
  • Can comfortably work night-shifting schedules.
