We're on the lookout for a Senior WordPress PHP developer to come and work with us on existing & new projects for some of Australia's leading organizations. With a focus on creative collaboration, you'll get the opportunity to be part of an integrated, multi-disciplined team. Fusing strategic thinking, mature processes and agile delivery, you'll work with creative freedom developing robust, user-friendly web applications and CMS driven sites.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 Days WFH)

Work Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Description:

  • Create custom plugins and themes based on client specifications
  • Optimize website performance and ensure high speed and scalability
  • Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress & PHP trends, technologies, and best practices
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with PHP & WordPress  Modern PHP, MySQL, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript (jQuery/React/Vanilla) and CSS/SCSS
  • Headless WordPress & GraphQL
  • Experience with PHP Frameworks and understanding of OOP and MVC
  • Experience in creating or extending WordPress plugins and themes
  • Good understanding of client-side scripting frameworks such as React
  • Familiar with the WordPress ecosystem
  • Experience with build tools, eg: webpack, npm etc.
  • Knowledge of common web vulnerabilities and writes clean, secure code
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • GIT, branching, merging and conflict resolution
  • Strong problem solving, debugging and quality assurance skills

Nice to have:

-Any Devops knowledge is advantageous.

-Linux & LAMP stack administration advantageous
