This role focuses on producing both short-form and long-form video content across various digital channels, helping define how Straightforward moves visually and emotionally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end video production for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, producing 2 short-form videos daily.
  • Edit videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and sound design; enhance visuals with motion graphics and animation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Communications Team to execute content aligned with briefs and campaigns.
  • Stay informed on trends, algorithms, and audience behavior to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
  • Occasionally assist with photo editing, graphic design, and mentoring teammates on video production.

Requirements

  • Experienced in shooting and editing social media videos, delivering at least 2 short-form videos daily.
  • Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro or Capcut, with knowledge of After Effects, motion design, and basic 3D tools (a plus).
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing for emotional and engaging content.
  • Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook trends, and how to translate them into effective content.
  • Comfortable working on-site in San Juan and has basic skills in other Adobe tools for supporting assets.
