The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of multiple restaurant branches within a designated area. This role ensures that all locations achieve business objectives including sales targets, profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team development.

1. Operational Oversight

  • Supervise and support daily operations across multiple branches.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular branch visits and operational audits.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action plans.

2. Financial Management

  • Monitor and analyze branch performance including sales, costs, labor, and profitability.
  • Ensure each store meets or exceeds sales and profit goals.
  • Assist Restaurant Managers in controlling expenses and managing inventory effectively.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and forecasts.

3. Staff Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor Restaurant Managers and key branch staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Foster a strong leadership pipeline across all stores.
  • Promote a positive, productive, and customer-focused culture.

4. Customer Experience & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness are maintained across all branches.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and service recovery.
  • Implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.

5. Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Participate in developing regional marketing strategies and promotions.
  • Support expansion plans, new store openings, and renovations.
  • Coordinate with other departments (HR, Marketing, Finance, R&D) to support branch needs.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity.
