Sales Account Executive-Hotel Sogo

The Sales Account Executive is directly supervised by the Sales Supervisor in the achievement of the hotel's annual sales, budget, and objectives, and all activities related thereto by soliciting sales in particular to potential clientele for the hotel from the corporate, government, and travel agency accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishing clientele for the hotel by developing account segments as specified (travel trade and government accounts) to achieve monthly sales forecast/quota.
- Generates at least 20 new customers per quarter and new customer leads through targeted marketing campaigns such as events, trade shows, e-marketing, etc. Manages customer data.
- Administer selling programs by holding marketing activities such as conducting sales blitzes and familiarization trips based on plans and schedules and conducting showroom/ocular inspection of the hotel to attract new clientele.
- Accomplish the required administration report by submitting sales/production report, sales itinerary, etc., to Sales Manager for monitoring and evaluation.
- Conduct survey on competitive rates of other hotels by monitoring competitors' rates, facilities, and amenities to modify or adjust rates as necessitated or required.
- Assess and give recommendations on improvement of guest satisfaction based on the feedback/s from the client.
- Prepare and submit sales and marketing proposals by conceptualizing strategies and activities to promote the hotel to prospective clients.
- Maintains a regular interface with the operations team.
- Provides customer service to clients for after-sales queries and concerns and after-sales service to existing clients
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Marketing, Advertising, Multimedia Arts, Mass, Fine Arts, Journalism, Tourism or related field.
EXPERIENCE
- At least one (1) year of experience as Sales Account Executive in the same capacity, preferably from a service delivery (BPO/Shared Service) setting.
