Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; Proficient in written and oral communications; Computer literate. Strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft  excel. Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably CPA license.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensures the correctness and timely submission of the Financial Statements and other financial reports.

  2. Ensures the compliance with government regulating agencies (i.e., BIR, SSS, PHIC, HDMF.)

DETAILS:

  1. Checks and ensures the correctness of all journal entries prepared by the Accounting staff.

  2. Checks and ensures the correctness and timely submission of remittance to SSS, PHIC (PhilHealth) and HDMF (Pag-IBIG) of EPSILON staff.

  3. Checks bank reconciliations and ensures timely submission and recording of any adjustments.

  4. Checks and ensures the correctness and timely submission of remittance to BIR.

  5. Processes the remittance of statutory benefits of EPSILON Staff.

  6. Summarizes the payroll of the OIO's subject for billing to the Principal.

  7. Prepares the financial statement and other financial reports.

  8. Prepares the annual budget and monthly variance analysis.

  9. Coordinates with the external auditor to establish schedules for the preparation of audited financial statements and annual corporate income tax.

  10. Ensures manual books are updated at all times.

  11. Coordinates with Auditor and BIR for compliance related to the annual LOA.

  12. Assists the VP - Finance and Accounting in setting the Company directions towards the improvement of the organization's quality management system.

  13. Ensures the consistent adherence to the Quality Policy and attainment of QMS Objectives

  14. Sets the quality objectives, action plans, and resource requirements, to meet the QMS requirements of the department.

  15. Ensures the implementation of process and service standards.

  16. Participates in management reviews and internal audits.

  17. Determines opportunities for improvement in respective processes, products, output, and services, to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.

  18. Ensure that corrective and/or preventive actions are provided, implemented, monitored and evaluated.
