Job Summary: The Accounting Junior Accounts Payable role involves supporting the accounts payable function within the finance department. This position is responsible for processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors. The Junior Accounts Payable professional will collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable team to contribute to efficient payment processing and financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

· Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding, approval, and appropriate documentation.

· Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper authorization and goods receipt.

· Verify and reconcile discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and other related documents.

· Maintain vendor records, updating contact information, payment terms, and other relevant details.

· Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues in a timely and professional manner.

· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.

· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper expense allocation and budget adherence.

· Support the Accounts Payable team in ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

· Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable process.

· Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and related documents.

· Provide support to the Finance team as needed for various projects and tasks.

· Prepare BIR form 2307 of all suppliers of services and goods and Doctors without Account numbers.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

· Previous experience in accounts payable, finance, or related roles is a plus, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

· Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

· Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
