The Accounting Team Leader supports the Finance Department by coordinating daily accounting activities, guiding the accounting staff, reviewing transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports. The role assists in implementing accounting policies, monitoring compliance, and maintaining organized financial records.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Administrative

  • Assist in implementing accounting policies, forms, and process flows approved by Management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of daily and weekly reports.
  • Review the work of team members uploaded in G-Drive.
  • Support in setting up and maintaining accounting books using the company's system.
  • Help organize filing and documentation areas, ensuring proper folio and record-keeping systems.
  • Maintain orderly fiscal records for all accounting documentation.

2. Transaction Review, Reporting & Monitoring

  • Consolidate and validate accounting reports such as daily cashiering reports, AR/AP summaries, and bank reconciliation.
  • Review general ledger entries and ensure accuracy before endorsement to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Support month-end closing activities including schedule preparation and reconciliations.
  • Validate daily sales reports, deposits, and cash/bank-related transactions.
  • Monitor project and corporate budgets and prepare preliminary variance reports.
  • Identify process gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.

3. Government Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing government reports (e.g., BIR, SSS, PHIC, HDMF) before submission.
  • Ensure proper filing and updating of government compliance records in G-Drive.

4. Team Coordination

  • Guide and coach accounting staff in their daily tasks.
  • Provide clear instructions and ensure the team follows standard accounting procedures.
  • Disseminate updates regarding new policies, processes, or changes in government requirements.
  • Coordinate workload distribution to ensure deadlines are met.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php32,000.00 per month
