Job Overview:

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator (SMP) to support our Australian operations. This role is crucial in preparing accurate work orders for maintenance activities, with a strong emphasis on oil & gas facility experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive maintenance requests from the Lead Resource Estimator in Perth, Australia.
  • Estimate labour, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
  • Source and obtain quotations from contractors and suppliers.
  • Define job steps and prepare detailed work packs for execution.
  • Review and mark-up engineering drawings (P&IDs, Isometrics, Data Sheets).
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of work orders to support site operations.
  • Raise engineering queries as needed.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade qualification or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with 5+ years' oil & gas facility experience.
  • Skilled in interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, and data sheets; experienced in SMP estimates for B&P, insulation, equipment installation, vendor packages, MTOs, BOQs, and tenders.
  • Maintenance background in piping, valves, inline equipment, and static equipment; Shell ROSER training an advantage.
  • Proficient in manhour estimation, manpower scheduling, and calculating labour, material, tool, and equipment needs; Primavera P6 knowledge a plus.
  • Strong MS Word and Excel skills; able to produce estimates from limited manufacturer or engineering details.
  • Must be willing to work full-time in the office located at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
