Senior Business Development Representative

The Senior BDR will be a key player in driving new business and pipeline growth through strategic prospecting and a high-volume outbound cadence. With at least 5 years of experience, this role requires a proven ability to manage the entire top-of-funnel process, from lead generation and cold calling to meeting scheduling and handoff to Account Executives. The ideal candidate is an expert in leveraging sales engagement tools and has a track record of consistently exceeding quotas.
Core Responsibilities:
- High-Volume Prospecting & Outreach: Lead the daily execution of high-volume cold calling (300+ calls per day) using tools like Orum Dialer to connect with potential customers. Utilize ZoomInfo to source and build targeted lead lists of thousands of contacts.
- Workflow & System Management: Own the end-to-end sales workflow. This includes importing fresh leads from ZoomInfo into Salesforce (CRM), syncing them to Salesloft (sales engagement platform), and using Orum for call execution.
- Sales Cadence & Engagement: Design and manage automated email and call cadences within Salesloft to nurture leads and ensure timely follow-ups. Listen to call recordings and analyze data to optimize outreach strategies.
- Meeting Management & Handoff: Effectively qualify leads and schedule meetings for the Account Executive team. Use Chili Piper to manage meeting scheduling and routing, ensuring a seamless and efficient handoff process.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze data on optimal calling times and top-performing area codes to continually refine the prospecting strategy. Provide feedback to leadership on what is working and what could be improved.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Serve as a mentor to junior BDRs, sharing best practices for high-volume calling, tech stack utilization, and overall sales strategy. Collaborate with the broader sales team to align on pipeline goals and lead quality.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales Development role, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas.
- Technical Proficiency: Must have a strong working knowledge of the sales tools mentioned in the provided workflow, including Orum Dialer, Salesloft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Chili Piper.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively during cold calls.
- Data-Driven Mindset: The ability to analyze performance data and metrics to make informed decisions and optimize personal workflow.
- Self-Motivation: A highly motivated and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a large pipeline and weekly processes.
