Telecom Sales Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Having a PRC license (EE, ECE, or ME) is a plus
  • Applicants with 1 to 3 years' worth of working experience in a telecommunications power industry, energy solutions, or related field are highly preferred
  • Experience in power systems, generators, batteries, DC power, rectifiers, and solar solutions is an advantage
  • Applicants with project coordination/management, wireless communications experience are an advantage
  • Candidates who can start ASAP are highly preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles technical tasks assigned to him/her, which include but are not limited to installation, testing, commissioning, and project acceptance of power-related systems (e.g., generators, batteries, DC power, rectifiers, and solar equipment)

  • Works with the Business Development team and coordinates with the client to meet the project's needs and targets

  • Conducts site surveys prior to the commencement of project activities.

  • Assists in and/or prepares all relevant documents and reports related to deployment, including but not limited to: Technical Site Survey Reports, Broadcast Reports, As-Built Plans, Floor Plan Layouts, Work Permits and Passes, and Bills of Quantities

  • Prepares budget requests based on site requirements, in coordination with the client

  • Coordinates with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth and timely project implementation

  • Documents site work and collects necessary data for submission to both the client and the supervisor

  • Identifies tools, equipment, vehicles, and other logistics required for the site

  • Handles all concerns raised by the client regarding the project

  • Other ad hoc functions and/or tasks (could be on a short- or long-term basis) that are considered substantial to the business of the company and as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor
