Duties/Responsibilities

  • Handles and receives approved purchased request from other department (assigned to several Departments' request);
  • Sources out Suppliers for inquiry of the item request and ask for quotation;
  • Prepares canvass sheet, petty cash, request for payment, and Purchase Order for approval of respective signatories;
  • Sends to Email and Viber the approved Purchased Order to Suppliers;
  • Calls the Supplier for the acknowledgement of Purchase Orders sent, and ask for the delivery schedule;
  • Follows-up deliveries to Suppliers;
  • Receives deliveries, invoices from Suppliers and checks the quality, quantity of items delivered;
  • Calls the requisitioner for turn-over of items;
  • Liquidates all cash request and submits them to Purchasing Supervisor;
  • Scan and log documents forwarded to Accounting Department for Payment purposes;
  • Maintains document files;
  • Performs other task that may be assigned from time to time by Purchasing Supervisor.
