WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support in Strategic Planning:

  1. Assist in developing and executing marketing plans that align with the university's strategic objectives, focusing on student recruitment and reputation enhancement.

  2. Provide administrative support for the preparation and implementation of marketing strategies.

Marketing Event Campaigns:

  1. Assist in the organization and execution of various marketing activities and programs in schools and communities.

  2. Participate in school campaigns and career orientation seminars.

  3. Prepare logistical requirements for school fairs and other promotional events.

Brand Management:

  1. Ensure consistency in the university's branding across all marketing materials and channels.

  2. Assist in the creation and distribution of print, digital, and social media content.

Digital Marketing:

  1. Support digital marketing efforts by managing the university's website, social media accounts, and email marketing campaigns.

  2. Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Content Creation:

  1. Assist in creating engaging and informative content such as articles, videos, and infographics that highlight the university's programs and achievements.

  2. Support the development of promotional materials for various platforms.

Partnerships and Linkages:

  1. Help establish and maintain relationships with different schools, communities, and government offices within the campus's territorial boundaries.

Market Research:

  1. Conduct market research to understand competitor positioning and prospective students' needs and preferences.

  2. Analyze data to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.

Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with academic departments, admissions, alumni relations, and other university units to ensure consistent messaging and leverage cross-promotional opportunities.

Events Management:

  1. Monitor and support marketing activities across various academic and non-academic departments.

  2. Ensures completeness of all logistical and non-logistical requirements, including advertorial posts, as needed.

Data Management Reporting and Analysis:

  1. Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

  2. Maintain records and files such as, but not limited to, the marketing plan, market research, and contacts directory.

Other Responsibilities: Perform other functions as assigned by the Marketing Officer/Sales and Marketing Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATION/S:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related fields
  • Relevant experience in marketing, preferably in the education sector or similar industries.
