About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Department Manager to join our dynamic team at Apollo Home Depot in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As a full-time Finance Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the financial health of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve the company's financial performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure the company's financial policies and procedures are up-to-date and adhered to
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the retail or manufacturing industry
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, including accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in financial software and data analysis tools
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a team of finance professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
