Job Summary

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the finance and accounting functions of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supports management decision-making, and provides guidance to the finance team in executing daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day financial operations including payables, receivables, disbursements, and general accounting.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee cash flow management and ensure availability of funds for operations.
  • Review journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Implement internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Train, guide, and evaluate performance of finance and accounting staff.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license preferred but not required.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
