Job Summary

The Finance Manager oversees the entire finance function of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, taxation, and internal controls. This role provides strategic financial guidance to senior management, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads the finance team in executing accurate and timely financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team in daily operations.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Monitor cash flow, funding requirements, and financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Establish and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Review and approve journal entries, disbursements, payables, and receivables.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support business decisions through financial modeling, cost analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license strongly preferred but not required (depending on company requirements).
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
