The Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineer) is responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures that construction costs are accurately forecasted, monitored, and controlled while maintaining compliance with technical specifications, contract terms, and company standards.

The position requires close coordination with the design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure cost-effective and technically sound project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

  • License:

  • Preferably a Registered Civil Engineer (PRC Licensed).

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or project cost control (construction industry preferred).

  • Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, or CostX).
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Familiar with contract administration and project budgeting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for multi-disciplinary teams.
