JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

Employment type: Full-time (Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. & Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

Location: 89-91 Sgt. Emilio Rivera Street, Brgy. Pag-ibig sa Nayon, Quezon City

Salary: P21,684 – P25,000/ month

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Total Safe Development Construction Inc. is a registered company with its primary purpose as a General Contractor (building of construction or parts/Civil Engineering) specifically engaged in; Project estimate, General Construction (foundation to finishing), Renovation, and Fit-out.

Reporting to:

QS Supervisor, General Manager, and CEO/Management

JOB SUMMARY:

Also known as cost consultants, quantity surveyors ensure building projects remain within budget. They provide cost and material estimates, draw up projected budgets, and work alongside a team, noting any design changes and their effect on cost. Quantity surveyors often liaise with builders, architects, engineers, and other contractors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Processing approval of invitation to Bid to in-charge Managing Partner (GenCon)

· Processing of request for Bid Fee and Schedule of Pick-up of Bid Documents

· Attend Pre-bid/Clarificatory/Negotiation meeting

· Consolidating provided Bid Documents

· Reviewing and evaluation of Bid Plans and Specifications

· Making and sending Bid Queries

· Consolidation of all Bid Bulletins

· Sending of plans for request quotation to subcontractors/suppliers and follow-up subcontractors for their quotations.

· Computation of Structural and Architectural Estimates including all the measurements gathered from the plans.

· Consolidation, and submission of Bid Proposals and other bid documents (E-file or Physical copy) for new projects

· Updating of list of Bidding projects

· Updating masonry material cost monthly

· Updating rebar cost twice a week

· Consolidation of plans for Return after the bidding phase (if required)

· Scheduling of site visits for Bidding Projects

· Coordinating with the person-in-charge of the bidding project on client/project management/architect side.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

· Licensed Civil Engineer

· With or without experience

· Construction estimating or finance experience is advantageous.

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Sound knowledge of construction.

· Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.

· Great networking abilities.

· With knowledge in Planswift and MS Office
