We are seeking a proactive and experienced Paralegal with strong expertise in NSW commercial and retail leasing, to support our legal practice. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers and paralegals, managing leasing and conveyancing matters end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone highly familiar with NSW leasing practices, capable of independently handling lease drafting, renewals, and negotiations with other solicitors, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage commercial and retail lease agreements, disclosure statements, and lease renewals.
  • Handle NSW leasing matters end-to-end, including liaising with other solicitors as required for negotiations.
  • Manage conveyancing matters related to leasing.
  • Maintain accurate lease documentation and ensure compliance with NSW legal requirements.
  • Provide updates on lease statuses to senior lawyers.
  • Collaborate with the team to support legal processes across leasing and conveyancing matters.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Paralegal in NSW with a strong focus on commercial and retail leasing.
  • Ability to independently manage end-to-end leasing and conveyancing matters.
  • Solid understanding of NSW leasing laws, practices, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience drafting full lease agreements and managing renewals.
  • Proficiency in LEAP Legal Software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and professional written and verbal communication.
