Work Hours: Full-Time, Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Philippine Time)

Candidates must have prior legal experience working with U.S. law firms and/or within domestic legal settings.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Billing Analyst to support a U.S. personal injury law firm from the Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing client invoices related to personal injury cases, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all billing activities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in legal billing, financial accuracy, and U.S. law firm procedures, with a focus on personal injury matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing and Invoicing: Prepare, review, and finalize client invoices in compliance with firm policies and client-specific billing guidelines.
• Time Entry Management: Review and verify attorney and staff time entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with billing standards.
• Expense Review: Audit and process case-related expenses, ensuring appropriate documentation and correct billing to clients.
• Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze billing and accounts receivable reports to identify discrepancies and improve efficiency.
• Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and accounting staff to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate client invoicing.
• Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all billing practices adhere to firm policies, client contracts, and ethical guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal Management, or a related field.
• Preferred experience in legal billing or accounting, particularly within U.S. law firms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and billing software such as Clio, TimeSolv, or Bill4Time.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple billing cycles, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative and reliable professional with a deep understanding of U.S. legal billing processes and compliance standards.
