The Junior Accountant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the organization. This role involves tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting Senior Accountant in various financial activities.

Ker Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of weekly payables such as:

  • Validating supplier SOA or Supporting documents related to the bills

  • Collecting recurring Bills to different portal (PLDT, Globe, Crayon, RFP, etc)
  • Encoding all Validated payables to Xero and Sharepoint Payables
  • Encoding approved bills to Unionbank for Disbursement
  • Sending POP to Vendors
  • Sending BIR FORM 2307 if necessary

  • Marks as Paid bills to Xero

  • Preparation of Client Invoice

  • Checking and Uploading of client contract to Accounting folder

  • Updating clients Contact to Xero
  • Sending Approved Invoice to Client
  • Making Computation for OR preparation
  • Follow-up Client BIR FORM 2307

  • Uploading Proof Payment to Xero and Mark as Paid

  • Preparation of computation for government BIR filings

  • -Expanded Withholding Tax
    • Compensation Withholding Tax
    • Quarterly Value Added Tax
  • * Uploading OR and 2307 to Vat Monitoring list Sharepoint

* Combining all Input and Output Vat and send to Nationwide

  • Monthly Bank Reconciliation

-Downloading Bank Monthly Statement to UB

-Import template to Xero

-Export Excel sheet to xero and validate to dashboard

  • Preparing Government Statutory

  • Generating SPA from Philhealth EPRS

  • Generaing PIF from Pagibig Employer Portal

  • Generating PRN from SSS Empolyer portal

  • Other Ad Hoc tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy
  • CPA is a plus but not required
  • Has 1 to 2 years' experience in general accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with others.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new accounting tools and technologies.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant internship or work experience in accounting is a plus.
