Job Summary:

The Senior Accounting Associate is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting management in financial decision-making. This role covers general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The position also involves coordinating with the Sales team and clients for receivables, managing collection schedules, and ensuring timely payments.

Accounts Receivable & Collections

  • Monitor AR balances and issue billing statements.
  • Coordinate with Sales and clients for payment follow-ups.
  • Manage and schedule client collections to ensure timely payments.

General Accounting

  • Record journal entries and monitor daily transactions.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure tax filings and government requirements are met.
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.

Coordination & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Procurement on billing and expenses.
  • Recommend improvements in accounting systems and processes.
  • Provide guidance to junior accounting staff when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience (AR/collections preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks)
  • Good communication skills for client coordination.

Pay: Php22, Php25,000.00 per month
