About the role

Homecore INC', an established company within the accounting industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Carmona Cavite. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for handling a range of financial accounting and reporting tasks, contributing to the overall financial health and success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting activities
  • Perform month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other financial accounts on a regular basis
  • Provide support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and insights
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate financial information effectively
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred
