About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join the dynamic team at JB Elite Corporation. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations and ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. This full-time position is based in Carmona Cavite and offers opportunities for career growth within a reputable organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Perform accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  4. Assist with the preparation of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
  5. Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes
  6. Provide support to the accounting team as needed, including data entry and filing
  7. Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in financial records

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role
  2. Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  7. Relevant educational qualifications, such as an Accounting or Finance degree
