About the role

As an Accountant at JB Elite Corporation, you will be responsible for the company's financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost analysis. This full-time position is based in Carmona Cavite and will play a crucial role in supporting the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage the company's budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and budget updates
  • Perform cost accounting and cost management activities to optimise the company's financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Support the development and implementation of financial systems and controls
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as required

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in the Management Accounting & Budgeting industry
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred
