About the role

We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team at Emperador Distillers, Inc. (EDI) in Eastwood, Quezon City. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting our Purchasing and Procurement operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain for our manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and other supplies required for our production and operations
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and manage vendor relationships
  3. Prepare and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records
  4. Provide administrative support, such as filing, data entry, and generating reports
  5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our purchasing and procurement processes
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Less than one year of relevant experience preferred, especially in manufacturing, transport, or logistics-related purchasing or inventory roles.
  2. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data management and analysis
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors
  6. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve procurement-related issues
  7. Knowledge of inventory management principles and supply chain best practices
  8. Willing to work onsite in Eastwood, QC.
