Position Summary:  

The Manager of Billing and Credit – APAC will help drive Pax8's Accounts Receivable Operations and Performance by reducing overdue debt, increase collections and ensure a positive partner experience. This position will be working closely with the business partners, sales team, finance team and billing team across the region to improve the process and ensure proper reporting is in place.   

This role will be based in our office in Makati City, working on a day shift, hybrid.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): 

  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding debt from partners. Monitors and implements collection timeline which involves tracking of payments, follow up and reminder letters, suspension, payment arrangement, termination and debt recovery process. 40%
  • Establish and maintain positive communication and relationship with partners; understand partner concerns, resolve any billing concerns and disputes and work with relevant business unit to ensure accuracy of invoices. 20%
  • Prepare regular ageing reports, cash receipt projections for cash forecasting and other receivable reports which is needed by the executive team. 20%
  • Ensure continuous process improvement is driven within the team to identify opportunities to improve efficiency by minimizing manual work and work with relevant departments to help streamline end to end order to cash process. 10%
  • Ensure processes are in compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements and within Pax8 policies at all times. 10%

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies: 

  • 5 to 8 years of experience managing a team
  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or Order to Cash functions
  • International finance experience in the technology sector preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with NetSuite or comparable accounting software
  • Ability to be highly organized and productive
  • Demonstrated acute attention to detail
