Seek Marketing Partners (SMP) is a leading data-driven digital marketing agency based in the UK[1]. Our team of ~30 specialists works across four continents[2], delivering SEO, PPC, content marketing, web design and more to clients worldwide. We believe in a data-driven approach, transparency, and partnering closely with our clients to drive real results. We are now looking for an ambitious Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our remote team and help us generate new business opportunities.
Role Overview
This role is fully remote (work-from-home) and will focus on outbound sales prospecting and appointment setting. As an SDR at SMP, you will reach out to potential business clients via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to introduce our services and schedule appointments for our senior sales team. You'll be given fresh leads and profiled data through our automated system, so your job is to engage these prospects, qualify them, and book a meeting with a senior sales consultant. If you have excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset, this role will allow you to hit the ground running and make a direct impact on our growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Outbound Outreach: Proactively contact potential clients (B2B) through cold emails, LinkedIn messages, and occasional phone calls to generate interest in SMP's digital marketing services.
· Lead Qualification: Use a consultative approach to understand prospects' needs and pain points. Identify high-potential companies and decision makers that fit our ideal client profile.
· Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery calls or meetings between qualified prospects and our senior sales executives. Ensure calendar invites and necessary information are communicated for each appointment.
· Pipeline Management: Track all activities and interactions in our CRM system (we use Close). Keep the lead database organized and up-to-date with notes, call outcomes, and follow-up tasks (training on our CRM will be provided, no prior experience with Close required).
· Follow-Up: Persistently follow up with leads who have shown interest but not yet scheduled a meeting. Nurture prospects through email sequences or calls until they are ready to talk to the sales team.
· Target Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for outreach (emails/calls) and number of appointments set. Contribute to the team's sales pipeline goals.
· Feedback & Collaboration: Provide feedback on lead quality and common objections to help refine our targeting and messaging. Work closely with the sales and marketing team to improve outreach strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
· Experience: 1+ years experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, lead generation, or as a Sales Development Representative. Prior experience in B2B appointment setting or cold calling is highly desirable – we want someone who can start engaging prospects with confidence.
· Communication: Excellent English skills (written and spoken) are a must. You should be fluent and comfortable speaking on the phone with a neutral accent that international clients can easily understand.
· Sales Skills: Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills. Able to craft engaging outreach messages and handle cold-call conversations. Familiarity with navigating LinkedIn for lead generation is a plus.
· Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computers and software for sales. Experience with any CRM or sales engagement tools (e.g., Close, Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus but not required – we will provide training on our specific tools and processes.
· Self-Motivated: Goal-oriented and proactive. Since this is a remote role, you should be disciplined in managing your time and motivated to achieve targets without in-person supervision.
· Adaptability: Quick learner who can understand our digital marketing services and value proposition. Able to adjust your approach based on different industries or client personas. Open to coaching and continuous improvement (we conduct weekly training and feedback sessions).
· Education: Bachelor's degree is a bonus but not a strict requirement. Real-world sales experience and results will impress us more.
Compensation and Working Hours
· Base Salary: ₱20,000 to ₱28,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications). This is a competitive range for SDR roles in the Philippines, around or above the national average[3].
· Commission: Performance-based commission in addition to base pay is offered after your first month. We have a commission scheme to reward every appointment that converts into a client deal (details will be discussed during the interview). This means your earning potential grows as you bring in results.
· Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, following UK business hours. Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (UK time), which is equivalent to 4:00/5:00 PM – 12:30/1:30 AM Philippine time. Note: This is a night-shift position in PH to align with our UK-based operations. No work on weekends (follow UK Monday–Friday workweek).
· Work Setup: Permanent Work-from-Home. You can be based anywhere in the Philippines. You'll need a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace at home. We will provide access to necessary software (CRM, email tools, etc.) and accounts you'll need for the job.
· Training & Onboarding: We provide full training in your first month to get you up to speed with our services, sales scripts, and tools. Ongoing support is available – you'll have weekly check-ins, sales strategy meetings, and continuous feedback to help you succeed.

Successful SDRs can be promoted to Senior Outbound Sales roles or even transition into a Closer position (taking charge of closing deals with clients).
