Key duties include providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a tidy and welcoming front office, and supporting other staff with general administrative needs.

Essential skills and qualifications

  • Customer service attitude: A friendly and professional demeanor is crucial for interacting with visitors and clients.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for handling calls and visitors.
  • Organization and multitasking: The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively is essential.
  • Technical proficiency: Competency in office software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), is generally required.
  • Problem-solving: The ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise is a key asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or in a related administrative or customer service role is often preferred.
