This role involves developing and executing medical strategies, managing medical communication activities, and contributing to the overall success of the organization's medical initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement medical strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide medical and scientific support for product development, lifecycle management, and marketing activities.

  • Serve as a key medical contact for healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other external stakeholders.

  • Lead the planning and execution of medical education programs, advisory boards, and scientific conferences.

  • Ensure all medical activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Sales to ensure scientific accuracy and consistency.

  • Manage medical affairs teams and oversee the work of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and other staff.

  • Monitor and communicate scientific developments, competitor activities, and industry trends.

  • Support pharmacovigilance and safety reporting processes.

  • Contribute to publication planning, manuscript development, and presentation of scientific data.

  • Provide medical input into regulatory submissions and label negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed Physician or Medical Doctor. Have an advanced degree in Medicine and a relevant scientific discipline.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Medical Affairs, with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.

  • Strong understanding of the therapeutic area and relevant organizational operations.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external stakeholders.

  • Experience in managing medical teams and external medical affairs vendors.

  • Prior experience in clinical research or regulatory affairs.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data effectively.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
