Job Summary:

The Medical Director is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic medical expertise and oversight across the organization. They ensure the scientific integrity of clinical programs, support regulatory and compliance activities, and foster collaboration between medical, research, and commercial teams to advance the company's medical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical leadership and strategic direction for clinical development, medical affairs, and research initiatives.

  • Support the design, implementation, and oversight of clinical trials and studies.

  • Review and interpret clinical data, ensuring scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as a medical expert for regulatory submissions, health authority interactions, and product approvals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to align medical strategies.

  • Support medical education, scientific communication, and publication activities.

  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards, compliance regulations, and company policies.

  • Provide medical support for pharmacovigilance, safety reporting, and risk management.

  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, advisory boards, and other scientific forums.

  • Mentor and lead medical staff and external medical consultants.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification preferred.

  • Extensive experience in clinical development, medical affairs, or related fields.

  • Prior experience as a Medical Director or senior medical leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, GCP, and industry standards.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Ability to interpret complex scientific and clinical data.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in [specific therapeutic area, e.g., oncology, cardiology].

  • Proven record of publications and scientific contributions.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and external partners.
