JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assists the Medical Director and/or Medical Affairs Head in the daily operations of the Medical Affairs Department and in doctor engagement.
  • Coordinates with the Medical Director and/or Medical Affairs Head in handling unusual and difficult cases and gives recommendations on a variety of medically related problems.
  • Conduct research on medically related matters when it is necessary.
  • Offer proper information, orientation, and guidance to physician partners regarding clinical practice and physician conduct, and client expectations.
  • Schedule clinics and physician partner visitations periodically and as needed.
  • Leads doctor engagement initiatives and activities such as focus group discussions, and round table discussions and recommends innovative programs to support MD retention and engagement.
  • Works with the Medical Director and/or Medical Affairs Head in drafting and creating
  • memos, notices, and letters that are being communicated and disseminated to each Physician, Doctor, and the different multi-specialty Centers.
  • Reaches out to the doctor's concern and establish an agreeable solution on the matter. Escalates the concern to the Medical Director and/or Medical Affairs Head if needed.
  • Conducts training for doctors in customer care.
  • Assesses the doctors' performance using the MD scorecard and submits recommendations to the Medical Director and Medical Affairs Head based on the resulting data.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Must be a Graduate of medicine in a reputable medical school
  • Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Medicine.
  • Graduate and/or with in MHA, MBA OR MA in health administration and business administration units but not a strict requirement
  • At least 5 years' experience in Medical Management and Provider Relations Work.
