Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other relevant certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in internal audit, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Extensive knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, regulations and risk management
  • Analytical, problem-solving and decision making abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the annual audit plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with established standards. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes
  • Recommend measures to mitigate risks and enhance the efficiency of business operations
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the Audit Committee
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
