About the role

We are seeking an experienced Visual Merchandising and Design Manager to join our dynamic team at WalterMart Department Store in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the visual presentation and design of our department store locations, ensuring a cohesive and engaging shopping experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing innovative visual merchandising strategies across our department store locations

  • Collaborating with the marketing and operations teams to design and execute impactful in-store displays, product layouts, and seasonal/promotional setups

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in visual merchandising to continuously enhance the customer experience

  • Managing a team of designers and visual merchandisers to ensure high-quality execution of all visual elements

  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of visual merchandising initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed

  • Maintaining brand consistency and adherence to established visual guidelines

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail design, preferably in the apparel, retail industry

  • Proven expertise in creating visually appealing and impactful in-store displays and layouts

  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, buying patterns, and the factors that influence purchasing decisions

  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and team leadership skills

  • Proficiency in using relevant design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)

  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging and cohesive visual experiences
