Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across our portfolio of luxury beach resorts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the luxury travel market, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a passion for developing and executing innovative sales strategies. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales approaches.
- Oversee the development of annual sales budgets, forecasts, and action plans for each resort.
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing, General Managers, and Revenue Management team to ensure a cohesive and effective commercial strategy.
- Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Actively manage key accounts and cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and event planners.
- Identify and secure MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective sales promotions, packages, and partnerships to drive bookings and increase market share.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Team Management & Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing continuous coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Set clear performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment focused on achieving collective goals.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis for senior management.
- Utilize CRM software and other sales tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and generate accurate reports.
- Present sales results and strategies at management and board meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the luxury hotel or travel industry.
- Proven track record of success in exceeding sales goals and growing market share.
- In-depth knowledge of the luxury travel market in the Philippines and key international source markets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to our resort locations and attend industry events.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
