I. POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager – Retail is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive store traffic, increase sales conversion, strengthen brand visibility, and enhance customer experience across all retail branches. The role oversees brand marketing, promotions, digital marketing, visual merchandising, events, market analysis, and coordination with retail operations to support business growth.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Marketing Planning
- Develop annual marketing plans aligned with retail sales targets.
- Create brand strategies that strengthen positioning and customer loyalty.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.
2. Retail Promotions & Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute retail promotions, discounts, bundles, and seasonal campaigns.
- Coordinate with store managers for onsite execution and compliance.
- Evaluate promotion effectiveness and campaign ROI.
3. Brand Management
- Ensure consistent brand identity across stores, online platforms, and marketing materials.
- Oversee creation of marketing collaterals (posters, banners, digital content).
- Maintain brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
4. Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Lead online marketing initiatives including social media, website, and online ads.
- Analyze digital performance data and optimize campaigns for better results.
- Manage content calendars, photography, and product highlights.
5. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, pricing, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Recommend strategies to stay competitive in the retail industry.
- Conduct store surveys and customer feedback studies.
6. Visual Merchandising Coordination
- Work with VM team to ensure attractive and effective in-store displays.
- Oversee product placement, signage, and season-themed setups.
- Validate store compliance with merchandising standards.
7. Events & Retail Activations
- Plan store openings, product launches, customer events, and brand activations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, agencies, and partners for execution.
- Manage event budgets and timelines.
8. Budget Management
- Prepare and monitor marketing budgets.
- Control expenses and ensure cost-effective campaign execution.
- Source vendors and negotiate competitive rates.
9. Team Leadership
- Supervise marketing staff and creative team members.
- Set goals, guide performance, and ensure timely deliverables.
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and discipline within the team.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related course.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
- Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills.
- Experience in digital marketing, branding, and campaign management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
- Proficient in MS Office; skills in Canva/Photoshop is an advantage.
