. POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Supervisor – Retail assists in planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing strategies that support retail sales, brand visibility, and customer engagement. The role supervises marketing staff, coordinates store-level promotions, manages digital content, and ensures effective execution of campaigns and visual merchandising across all retail branches.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Marketing Execution & Coordination
- Implement marketing plans and promotional activities aligned with retail objectives.
- Coordinate with store supervisors/managers to ensure proper execution of campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare activity reports.
2. Retail Promotions & Sales Support
- Assist in planning seasonal promotions, discounts, and product pushes.
- Prepare marketing materials such as posters, banners, and in-store visuals.
- Monitor inventory of marketing collaterals and ensure timely distribution to stores.
3. Digital Marketing & Social Media Support
- Assist in content planning and posting on social media platforms.
- Monitor online engagement and respond to customer inquiries/messages.
- Support campaigns such as product highlights, store events, and digital ads.
4. Visual Merchandising Coordination
- Coordinate with the VM team to ensure updated, attractive, and consistent store displays.
- Conduct routine branch checks to ensure adherence to branding and merchandising standards.
- Provide feedback on store layouts and improvement recommendations.
5. Market & Competitor Monitoring
- Conduct market research, competitor price checks, and trend analysis.
- Gather customer feedback and provide actionable insights to management.
6. Event Coordination
- Assist in organizing store openings, product launches, mall events, and retail activations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, agencies, and event partners.
- Ensure event materials, logistics, and schedules are properly managed.
7. Team Leadership
- Supervise marketing assistants, graphic artists, and support staff.
- Provide guidance, delegate tasks, and monitor deliverables.
- Support the Marketing Manager in training and developing the marketing team.
8. Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare weekly/monthly marketing reports.
- Track marketing expenses and support budget monitoring.
- Maintain marketing files, calendars, and documentation.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- With 2–4 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Knowledgeable in retail promotions, visual merchandising, and branding.
- Familiar with social media management and basic digital marketing.
- Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise staff and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or basic design tools is an advantage.
