JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate is responsible for promoting the hotel's rooms, facilities, and services to potential clients and guests. This includes generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, assisting in the execution of sales strategies, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities for the hotel (corporate, group, and individual clients).
  • Promote hotel accommodations, banquet facilities, and special packages to meet sales targets.
  • Respond promptly to guest and client inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and contracts as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office, Banquet, and Food & Beverage departments to ensure smooth client experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications, bookings, and transactions.
  • Participate in sales calls, hotel tours, and promotional events.
  • Follow up on leads and ensure excellent client relationship management.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses.
  • Support marketing efforts such as social media promotions and event coordination when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in hotel sales, front office, or customer service.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, confident, and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with Hotelogix system is an advantage.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office-based and client-facing role within the hotel premises.
  • May require travel to client sites, events, or trade shows.
