We're looking for an experienced Principal Power BI Consultant to join our growing offshore team.

You'll work with Australian clients across finance, retail, and services sectors to design, develop, and optimise Power BI solutions that bring clarity to business performance.

This role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring both technical depth and an understanding of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
  • Develop complex DAX measures, time intelligence calculations, and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow).
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure clean, well-structured data models from SQL and cloud data sources.
  • Work directly with business analysts and client stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality BI solutions.
  • Optimise dashboards for performance, usability, and self-service analytics.
  • Contribute to testing, data validation, and documentation to ensure trusted, repeatable outputs.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years experience in data and analytics, with 4–5+ years focused on Power BI.
  • Proven expertise in delivering financial reporting solutions (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow).
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup with clear communication and accountability.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing clean, high-performance BI solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, drill-throughs, bookmarks, and row-level security.
  • Understanding of dimensional modelling, data grain, and business logic.
  • Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in enterprise or multi-stakeholder environments.

Renumeration (Monthly)

$3,000 AUD (Approx. ₱115,000 PHP)
