The role

As a Finance Assistant at Select Goods', you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting functions within our thriving organisation. This full-time position is based in our Ortigas, Pasig City office in Metro Manila, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  2. Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  3. Perform data entry and reconciliation tasks, maintaining the integrity of our financial records
  4. Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, document management, and responding to inquiries
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  6. Participate in the implementation of financial systems and processes to drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
  4. Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  6. Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning
