This position is primarily responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring the tasks and activities of the Finance and Treasury Department. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the internal financial environment that supports the organization's overall objectives. This includes ensuring the maximization of shareholder value through effective financial management, control of capital sourcing investments. The incumbent is also responsible for the formulation of treasury policies and procedures that would support the maximization of revenues, minimization of cost and expenses, and ensure adequate controls are in place.

Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures, and regulations.

● Analyze budgeting, and accounting reports, and submit recommendations for approval or disapproval of funds requests.

● Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls.

● Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation.

● Perform cost-benefit analyses.

● Provide for the capital requirements of the company at the lowest cost possible.

● Oversee working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and payment processes.

● Monitor loan arrangements and maintain effective bank communication.

● Ensure appropriate documentation and procedural compliance on bank transactions.

● Assist and advise management in formulating and administering sound policies and procedures.
